Everyone prefers a different style of wine bottle stopper. Some prefer a thick bottle stopper that can easily be gripped to remove it from the bottle. Others prefer a medium diameter bottle stopper that is in proportion with the wine bottle. Some like short wine bottle stoppers, others like tall, almost chess-piece like bottle stoppers.
